In a recent interview, the CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk stated that he was overwhelmed and confused by PSY “Gangnam Style” which has become a worldwide virus. “Gangnam Style” has certainly has its place as a top K-Pop songs this year and has already reached over 47 million viewers on YouTube. As the CEO of YG, Yang Hyun Suk also contributed to the editing of MV “Gangnam Style”, which recently took the # 1 spot on the U.S. iTunes chart MV for the first time in the history of K-Pop.

Yang Hyun Suk stated, “Frankly, I’m still puzzled by the rise tiba2 song. Psy has a unique character that can not be found anywhere else in the world. This is why I believe that everything that happens to him now is never impossible. No artist can survive in the foreign music industry by simply copying what others are doing. Looks like Psy strategy to differentiate itself from other artists went well. ‘

Even fans say Psy and Yang Hyun Suk to “never let go of this opportunity” . It is very rare that Korean artists increasingly in the spotlight so much in the U.S. and both Psy and Yang Hyun Suk is very aware of this. Regarding the call of love of pop sensation Justin Bieber, founder of YG said, “We can not reveal all the details, but an amazing collaboration project is underway so please look forward to it.”
In related news, a variety of celebrities, including Robbie Williams, T- Pain, Josh Groban and Katy Perry,   all menshare MV PSY “Gangnam Style” on their twitter. Virus “Gangnam Style” has even reached the U.S. National Football League, as the baboons of the Baltimore Ravens do the dance “riding” for his touchdown celebration in a pre-season game.
